Best New CFB Uniforms for 2024 Season
Several college football teams have re-designed their uniforms and received new alternates this offseason. In no particular order, let's take a look at five of the best new uniforms entering the 2024 season.
UNT Traditional All-White
I am a sucker for an all-white uniform, especially when it’s as clean as my alma mater’s traditional look. With some slight tweaks to their uniform design that the Mean Green went away from after the 2021 season, North Texas will be taking the field in style in 2024.
Baylor Anthracite
Sticking fairly close to home for me, Baylor’s new anthracite uniforms are elegant in incorporating their yellow helmet logo and jersey numbers, as well as a black and gray shoulder pattern. The Bears open up the season with a night game at home, and I would be severely disappointed if they didn’t wear these Week 1.
Minnesota - Maroon helmet, white jersey, maroon pants
I’m not a huge fan of Minnesota’s color scheme, but this combo is beautiful, sleek and overall well done. The simplicity of the Golden Gophers’ uniforms is a trend Nike is going towards in most of their re-designs this year, but this combo is near perfect. Minnesota has a pair of helmets to choose from in 2024, and they should elect to wear these maroon lids most frequently.
West Virginia All-Black (Coal)
Just like with Baylor’s new uniforms, I love the incorporation of a shoulder design. The Mountaineers’ black helmets are arguably the best of their new designs. I’d love for West Virginia to debut these in their first night game of the season.
Wyoming Yellow Jerseys with White Helmet
In an age where teams are electing to have a more traditional look, Wyoming combines tradition and complexity well in their new yellow jerseys. The mountains on the shoulders are beautiful, and the new script font on the front of the Cowboys’ jerseys works perfectly with this design.
