Notre Dame Releases Shamrock Series Uniforms; Irish to Debut Uniforms Nov. 23

Notre Dame released the 2024 Shamrock Series uniforms today in advance of their game against Army on November 23. The Fighting Irish will face off against the Black Knights in the Shamrock Series at Yankee Stadium.

Compared to the last uniforms Notre Dame wore at Yankee Stadium, these are a massive step in the right direction. While the Fighting Irish opted to go with Blue-Gray Sky jerseys and pants, compared to their traditional blue jerseys and gold pants, these are a solid option and different enough to make this combo stand out.

The beveled numbers and shoulder logos will take some getting used to, as these stray away from the norm. The shoulder logo looks good and the Gothic numeric font is appealing, but the shine on the numbers doesn't do it for me. Maybe they look better in person, but that will remain to be seen for a few more months.
