What UNT Is Getting in OL Commit Roberto Rodriguez

Offensive Line commit Roberto Rodrigo announced his commitment to UNT on Friday with a graphic.

The University of North Texas landed its second commitment in the class of 2025, with Deer Park LT Roberto Rodriguez announcing his commitment via X (formerly Twitter). The 6-foot-5, 270 pound rising senior was awarded first-team all-district in 2023.

Rodriguez is a mauler, with defenders hitting the turf on nearly every run play. His hands are quick and powerful - if Rodriguez gets ahold of you, consider your impact gone.

Rodriguez has a lot of room to improve with his quickness, but the upside vastly outweighs the downside. If the Mean Green can hang on to him in the ever-changing world of Name, Image and Likeness and the transfer portal, Rodriguez could go down as one of the best offensive linemen in UNT history.
